THE KIDS VOTING CURRICULUM provides lessons and activities to enhance civic education and reinvigorate democracy. Kids Voting enables students to have a real-life voting experience that mirrors the adult process. Kids Voting teaches youth the importance of civic participation and the responsibilities of voting.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES training participants will...

  • Learn how to actively engage students in Kids Voting classroom
    lessons & activities.
  • Become familiar with the “Kids Voting” K-12 Curriculum.
    All participants will recieve a binder of materials and online access to Kids Voting lessons!
  • Learn how to involve students on their campus in the Kids Voting November 2009 Tucson City Election.

Funding for this teacher training and the
2009 Kids Voting Arizona Tucson Municipal Election
is provided by the City of Tucson Ward 2 Councilmember’s Office

This training is eligible for TUSD teacher salary increment credit.
