This is an exciting opportunity to:
- Share your knowledge, expertise, and passion with fellow educators
- Enhance and expand an effective civics and law related education programs
- Travel in state (opportunities for out-of-state travel are also available)
- Up to a $1,500 stipend for doing something for which you have a passion
Regional Coordinator Role:
Regional coordinators will work closely with Kids Voting Arizona and its partner the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education to promote and enhance Kids Voting programs within their designated region of Arizona. They provide technical assistance to new and experienced educators ensuring the strength and effective implementation of the program. Regional Coordinators will serve in this capacity from after June 1, 2007 through May 31, 2008.
As a Regional Coordinator, you will
- Serve as a Liaison between KVAZ and the educators in your region.
- Develop an Action Plan to meet the needs of your region as well as the needs of the program.
- Conduct two Awareness Sessions.
- Market KVAZ and other law-related education programs to schools and districts within your region.
- Provide ongoing Technical Assistance to educators who have been trained in the specific law-related education program.
- Host & Support an academic competition or election in your designated region.
